What is
PSYCH-K?

When insight alone isn’t creating the change you want, subconscious beliefs may be part of what is keeping an old pattern in place.

What we believe beneath the surface shapes how we see, choose, and act.

PSYCH-K® is a process for working with subconscious beliefs—the automatic assumptions and associations that can influence our behavior even when they conflict with what we consciously know or desire.

In a session, we clarify the change you want and use structured mind-body processes, known as balances, to help create beliefs that support that direction. The work is collaborative, focused, and grounded in your own goals.

Frequently asked

What is PSYCH-K®?+

PSYCH-K® is a non-invasive, interactive process designed to help identify and transform subconscious beliefs that may be working against your conscious intentions. It uses a series of structured processes called balances to create more supportive beliefs and reduce stress around a chosen goal.

What is a balance?+

A balance is the name PSYCH-K® gives to a structured mind-body process used to support a specific goal or belief. We begin by clarifying what you want, then use a muscle-testing protocol to select and complete an appropriate process.

What is muscle testing?+

Muscle testing is used as a form of biofeedback within a PSYCH-K® session. It helps guide the process and check responses. It is not a medical test or diagnostic tool.

What can we work on?+

Sessions may focus on confidence, relationships, work, creativity, habits, life transitions, self-expression, or another area where you understand what you want consciously but continue to encounter an internal block.

How is this different from coaching or therapy?+

Coaching usually works through reflection, inquiry, and action. PSYCH-K® focuses specifically on subconscious beliefs. I may use the approaches separately or together, depending on your goals. PSYCH-K® is not psychotherapy and does not replace medical or mental-health care.

What happens after a session?+

Some people notice a shift immediately; for others, change becomes clearer over time. Insight is often followed by practical action. A new belief about work, for example, may still ask you to have a conversation, revise a résumé, or make a new choice.

PSYCH-K® is a complementary personal-development process. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional.
